SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ACTION

The main objective of this Action is to promote of the use of the eDelivery DSI-Digital Service lnfrastructures amongst private and public entities by integrating the AS4 messaging protocol, specifically the e-Sens AS4 Profile, in five already certified PEPPOL Access Points (APs) from different Member States (Sweden, ltaly and Denmark).

Theses APs of the EDI providers of the consortium (Crediflow AB, Tickstar AB, Qvalia Group AB, Net4market S.R.L., and mySupply ApS) are currently linked to the Electronic Registered Delivery Services (ERDS) of their cloud platforms. These ERDS are used by their clients from several Member States and were developed according to the requirements set in the elDAS Regulation (Regulation EU 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services).

The implementation of each EDI provider also covers the transition from AS2 to AS4, as well as the upgrade and deployment of the respective Service Metadata Publisher (SMPs), which will allow their clients to operate via PEPPOL network with the new eDelivery AS4 profile.

This Action will enable a large number of European entities that are already using the eDelivery services provided by the members of AS4EDl-19 consortium, to exchange electronic documents according to the technical specifications of the EU Core Service Platform and based on the eDelivery AS4 profile. This Action will promote the use of eDelivery DSI around Europe, espacially in the several Member States where the EDI providers and their clients are based.
